Friday April 24th – Coalition to Repeal Right to Work – 7-8 pm

Joe Uehlein,  Executive Director of the Labor Network for Sustainability, and Voices for a Sustainable Future, will lead a discussion on labor and the environmental movement. Joe is former secretary-treasurer of the AFL-CIO Industrial Union Department and former director of the AFL-CIO Center for Strategic Campaigns. He spent over 30 years doing organizing, bargaining, and strategic campaign work in the labor movement and is also a musician and a member of AFM.

Poet Paul-Newall Reaves will give a talk on Modernist poetry from Ezra Pound to Marianne Moore to Dr. Seuss. Then we will discuss our project on positive messaging for fundamental societal change; access to unemployment benefits for free-lancers; and more.
